How does it work?

Google Ad Grants works just like Google AdWords.

 

1. It starts with someone doing a Google search with keywords that are related to your mission.

When the search results come up, ads appear at the top of the search results page.

2. People see your AdWords ad and click on it, and the ad links to your landing page.

This results in more website visitors and more potential supporters for your cause.

When a person clicks on the ad, the organization “would” typically pay for the click.

However…For eligible non-profit organizations, Google offers an advertising grant worth up to $10,000 per month in AdWords credits. This means that a non-profit can run ads on Google’s Search Network – the largest search engine in the world – without incurring any of those pay per click expenses. Keep in mind that this grant is worth up to $120,000 per year worth of clicks!
